It is possible to set up track systems with either "left or right polarity". This is indicated by a groove along the track face. Viewed from the power end, if there is an extra groove running along the left side of the installed track, that indicates Left Polarity. When choosing accessories, if polarity is an option, you must choose the same polarity for all parts in the track system. Track sections must be installed with the groove consistent from section to section.
